THE FALL SEASON
The market is gaily decorated with corn shocks, Indian corn, squaw corn, gourds, all types of winter squash,
hardy mums and many painted pumpkins.
The market tables are filled with numerous varieties of crisp, juicy apples and the tantalizing aroma of fresh
baked pies and donuts fill the air. Bottles of just-pressed cider line the cider case. We feature one of the largest
displays of pumpkins in the State of New Jersey and have giant pumpkins galore for the pleasure of all.
This is a fun season for families and children of all ages, with fabulous photo opportunities everywhere.
WEEKEND HAYRIDES
Hayrides for your family enjoyment through the orchards and farmland behind the market
delight young and old alike beginning the weekend after Labor Day through October. They are available without reservations.
We have combined with Maize Quest Maze Adventures to create a puzzle maze through a living
corn field. Open only on the weekends, adults and children will enjoy this addition to their farm visit.
Our crawl maze and Giant Hay Maze are sure to challenge the youngest
adventurers. A very challenging Rope Maze and our new Mazes for 2008: Tile Maze, Pipe Maze, Kiddie Hay Maze.

Also available is our "Kiddie Corn Pit Play Area". A giant corn filled sand box for ages 1-6. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
THANKSGIVING
Thanksgiving tradition calls for Wightman's Farms cider and our delicious hickory smoked hams and
bacon complimented by the many farm-fresh fruits and vegetables. Our home-baked pies are a
delightful finale for any Thankgiving feast and should be ordered in advance. The market remains
open for half a day on this traditional holiday in order to accommodate all of your needs.
CHRISTMAS
Wightman's Farms features an unusually large and outstanding selection of fresh-cut and
balled trees for Christmas. Douglas fir, Balsam, Frazier fir, Concolor Fir, and White spruce in all sizes from table trees to 15 feet are always reasonably priced, beautiful and
long-lasting.
Our traditional Christmas wreaths are hand-decorated with care, and there are also many sizes
and varieties of untrimmed wreaths to choose from. Fragrant greens, cut holly, roping mistletoe,
grave blankets and poinsettias in all sizes and colors complete the holiday decoration theme. Special
holiday hours so please call for details.
As always, our Hickory Smoked Hams, fresh baked pies and freshly squeezed cider grace many a
Christmas dinner table. Everyone who passes the farm during the evening hours of the Christmas
season is delighted with the extensive display of holiday lights centered around the 25 foot
Christmas tree.
